Yes, as a bridesmaid, I remember the fashion show very well. It was fun at the time but 45 years later I ask: Why not a fashion show with Carol and all of us in our business suits ready to conquer the world? Carol, you could still be the BIG CHEESE, president of the company, but what fun if we could have broken the glass ceiling in a small way.
I did not wear that dress for my wedding, however, I did make my own wedding dress. The fashion show dress was remade several times. I put a different top on it a few times to wear to a few proms. I was so nervous at that fashion show, but it was fun. We didn't have much of a choice but to make something and model it.
This blog is for you to share pictures, either old ones from our Mercy days or more current ones. Those of you who can't attend our 45th reunion can get updated on your classmates here and share your memories. You can email pictures to me with your comments and I will post them. If you would prefer to post them yourself, just let me know and I'll share the login info. Yvonne
